The 2Baba siege was evident at the grand finale of the Project Fame competition recently for all the audience that pervaded the auditorium recently at the on-going Project Fame 7.0. All was let loose soon as the multiple awards winner was introduced as a guest judge for the night. And the crowd, expectedly went wild in anticipation of a great show. It was also a night when contestants were billed to perform songs from the artiste’s catalogue of hits.

The show also provided a soft launch for the Vote Not Fight: Election no be War campaign as the support vocalists from Adrenalin Band rocked t-shirts bearing the boldly inscribed message on them.

Vote Not Fight: Election no be War is a voter education project of The 2face Foundation in partnership with NDI and Youngstars Foundation among others towards youth participation for a peaceful conduct of the 2015 general elections. He said that an official launch date will be announced by the foundation soon.

Unlike the Davido and Wizkid nights when each contestant was put on probation, the show was a festival of classic materials that, no doubt, brought the best from the performers. The artiste, who recently released The Ascension album debuted on number 12 on the Billboard World Music Charts, was acknowledged as a living legend as he watched proudly as each contestant gave everything that they had in the delivery of their 2face song choices.

Also, as it’s fast becoming his trademark in recent times, 2baba brought a lot of glee to bear on the show to an earth shattering ovation from the capacity studio crowd, and millions of viewers all over the world, in an attempt to describe the scintillating performance of a contestant. That significantly boosted the entertaining value of the show.
