Former Vice-President to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Namadi Sambo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday 10th May, 2017 visited the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Contrary to opinions and questions from millions of Nigerians why a member of the opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for that matter would embark in such visit, Sambo said: “I have come to pay a visit to Mr. Vice-President and Mr. Acting President. It is a usual familiarisation visit. As you know, former Presidents visit Mr. President and former Vice-Presidents visit the Vice-President. I am happy to see all of you, our good friends. I want to thank you very much for this reception.”
