These are not the best of times for the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III as his eldest son, Amir is now unconscious at the Usman Danfodio Teaching Hospital after a near fatal car accident.

We gathered that Amir had the accident along Sokoto Airport Road, in an area called Bado. In the car with him was Khalifa Maccido, son of Aliyu Macciddo.
