Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu has confirmed the release of the kidnapped Dapchi Schoolgirls by Boko Haram.
The president’s aide briefly stated… “Yes, the girls are being transported to safety. We will give details later. We thank God.”
However, earlier report on Wednesday March 21st, 2018 has it that the abducted Dapchi schoolgirls kidnapped from the Government Girls School in Yobe have returned.
We gathered the insurgents group returned the missing girls in nine vehicles, similar to how they were taken away. Further reports has it that five of the girls may have died while in custody of the insurgents.
