A pastor of a Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) is presently swimming in a troubled water as he is undergoing questionings over a crime he committed against a female member of his church.

We gathered the man of God on Sunday, January 17, 2016 set his church member ablaze during a church service in Lagos.

According to sources, the man of God claimed he had a revelation that God was strongly in their midst and that the Holy Spirit has earlier ministered to him that if he sets his member on fire that she will not get burnt.

We were told the man of God poured kerosene on the member’s body and immediately lights her up. Unfortunately, the woman was burnt beyond recognition and before they could get help, the damage has already been done.

Be that as it may, we were told the pastor affirmed that he heard clearly from God to light up the member to show His presence in their midst.

Meanwhile, the million dollar question in the lips of many is; why should it be the innocent woman? Why didn’t he experiment the power on himself or any member of his family instead of someone else? According to him; “I heard the voice clearly, but I don’t know what happened after we set fire on her. God has been speaking to me since and it has been working, so I wonder why now.”

We gathered that since the mishap, members have started leaving the church, claiming they now doubt the pastor’s credibility revealing that their lives are no longer safe with the pastor and that it is best they leave the church because they don’t know who the Holy Spirit will ask him to burn afterwards.
