Omawumi, MI Headline Federal Poly, Nekede’s Glo Campus Storm

omawumi___miThe Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Imo State, will today, Friday 28th October, 2016 savour the Glo Campus Storm, Globacom’s comprehensive entertainment music concert.

Students of the institution are reportedly eagerly waiting to have a taste of the top show. One of the students, Samson Onuoha, an ND II undergraduate, said: “We are seriously waiting for the show. Music concerts of this magnitude rarely happen in this school. I’m sure students from other institutions around like FUTO (Federal University of Tehnology, Owerri) will also attend the show”.

The “Na who I go  ask” crooner, Omowumi Megbele , Africa Rapper Number One, MI and songstress, Victoria Kimani, are billed to headline the concert while multi-talented Comedian, Gordons, will spice up the night with rib-cracking jokes.

According to a statement by Globacom, the ongoing Glo Campus Storm is another demonstration of its immense love for students and youths of Nigeria. “We have built a very good relationship with them over time and regularly, we entertain them with the best of Nigerian artistes, knowing their love for music. The Glo Campus Storm concert is an entertainment show designed to reward students nationwide and give them the opportunity of winning some prizes and becoming Glo Campus ambassadors”, the statement read.

The company stated that “a competition will be held at the Federal Polytechnic during the show to select 10 Glo Campus Ambassadors, made up of 5 males and 5 females. Two of them who will emerge ‘Glo Data Dude’ and ‘Glo Data Diva’ will each go home with N100,000”.

It further noted that the winners will join 220 other winners who will vie to become Glo Ambassadors and go home with N1m in scholarship as star prize in the male and female categories.

In addition, they will be signed on as Glo Brand Ambassadors and also get special invitations to attend Globacom events and shows such as the Glo-CAF Awards, GloLaffta Fest and Glo Slide ‘n’ Bounce concerts.”

Globacom enjoined students willing to attend the concert to recharge their Glo lines with N500 campus data plan to be admitted into the venue for an evening to remember.
