Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, the Awujale of Ijebuland, in Ogun State has debunked his death rumour that has been spreading like wild harmattan fire by rumour mongers.
The talebearers have been saying that the 83-year old king who has spent 57th year on the throne has passed away. However, the highly respected king said that; “I’m surprise that some bloggers could be spreading rumours about my death without confirming from the palace in Ijebu-Ode or from my chiefs. Why are people spreading rumours about my death, when I am right here at Oriental Hotel, Lagos?”
Those close to the king revealed that he has been a guest of Oriental Hotel on Victoria Island, in Lagos, where he has been staying after a routine medical checkup in a Lagos hospital, two weeks ago.
