Former Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State has lost his wife, Zainab Nyako. She died on Tuesday June 19th, 2018 at the Federal Medical Centre Yola. She was 63years old and a mother of six children.
Zainab had her elementary education at Jimeta Central Primary School and proceeded to Queens College Lagos. She attended Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and Lagos State University in Lagos for bachelor and masters degrees respectively.
She worked as Classroom Teacher before joining the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) where she rose to the position of Zonal Coordinator in charge of Adamawa and Taraba States.
