Former Lagos State Commissioner and top politician, Dr. Muiz Banire, has made the dream of his mother come true. He recently threw his doors open to top Lagos socialites, politicians and businessmen, among others, as he organized a befitting birthday and prayer for his mother Alhaja Sarat Abiola Banire, at his GRA, Ikeja, Lagos residence.

We learnt that among those who graced the well attended birthday bash include Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode, alongside his running mate, Oluranti Adebule; House of Representatives candidate and Lagos State lawmaker, Adefunmilayo Tejuosho and former Lagos State Women Affairs Commissioner, Kemi Nelson, among others.

Banire, a Notary Public and erudite legal scholar, has a doctorate degree in Property Law from the University of Lagos. He was a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Private and Property Law, University of Lagos. Banire, who has also been in active legal practice for many year is a prolific writer and different area of law. He also has robust public service experience, having been a commissioner in the Lagos State government and currently the national legal adviser for the main opposition party in Nigeria, All Progressives Congress (APC).
