The executive producer of the hottest Nollywood movie, BUSTED, Face Onu has eventually opened up about how she and Liza Onu producer of the movie got veteran actress, Liz Benson to feature in the movie.
“It wasn’t easy. At first Liz Benson didn’t want to be a part of the film, but after she read the script, she was delighted to join the cast. Other actors also accepted roles when they saw the script. My biggest challenge was the Censors Board, but after they saw it, they approved it.”
“I did not make this movie to promote the act of lesbianism. I realised a lot of Nigerians aren’t aware of the bill passed against same sex marriage and then 2. I want parents to open their eyes and pay more attention to their children, as the so called new world era is beginning to ravage our society and the future of our children.”
The film will be in cinemas soon after premiering at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos on May 21st 2017. Busted also features; Kate Henshaw, Paul Obazele, IK Ogbonna, Bryan Okwara and many others.
