Ex-Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State and Atiku Abubakar, former Vice-President of Nigeria are locked in a bitter war. Insiders squealed to us that both politicians are fighting for the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for 2019.

We were told that the politicians are already wooing leaders of the PDP for the presidential ticket. Our sources added that though Atiku belongs to the All Progressives Congress (APC) but he is not too sure of picking the party’s presidential ticket since incumbent President Buhari may go for second term.

Atiku has taken his presidential ambition come 2019 to the next level as he has been visiting eminent Nigerians seeking for support. He visited former military president, Ibrahim Babangida recently and many believed that his visit is part of the strategy towards his presidential ambition.
