The speaker of Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi Atta has been impeached.

Members of the G24 of Kano House of Assembly on Tuesday May 15^th, 2018 stormed the Assembly complex defying heavy police presence and announced the impeachment of the speaker and other principal officers.

Amongst those impeached  are; Majority leader, Deputy Majority Leader, the Minority Leader, House Leader, Chief Whip, Leader of the G24 and former Speaker of the house, Kabiru Alhassan Rurum.
