Jumia Food Scores Big As It Hosts Top Nigerian Social Media Influencers

Jumia Food, Nigeria’s no 1 food ordering platform has hosted top social media influencers in the country at an event held at Workstation, Victoria Island.

Tagged #JumiaFoodGotMe, the event, which is the first in the series witnessed a large turnout of social media influencers from Femi Coker (@iamfemifactor) to Drew Baba, Abiola Oladapo (@beehazel_eyes), Tope Rants, Chidi Okereke (@Chydee), @_AdeFunke Aluko Ifeoluwa (@TrendMasterNGR) @Teniwadess, and @UmehWrites among others.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Jumia Food, Mr Guy Futi, said:  “At Jumia Food, we recognise the huge role social media is playing in the world today, especially in brand management and promotion. It is on this premise that we put this together to engage with social media influencers who have a massive following online and familiarise them with our product. “

Guy, who was recently appointed the MD of Jumia Food replacing Olamide Bada, added that the event had come to stay and efforts will be made to ensure that the brand maintained a good relationship with social media influencers.

Various Jumia Food vendors like Casper and Gambini’s, Ghana High, Johnny Rockets, Pepperoni Small chops, Krispy Kreme etc were on the ground to entertain the influencers.
