Veteran journalist, Josiah Abiola is dead. The former Political Editor of Global Excellence Magazine was said to have taken ill suddenly on Wednesday July 18, 2018.

He was rushed to a hospital in Oko-Oba, Abule Egba, Lagos and he passed on in the night of that same day. His corpse has been taken to Omega Mortuary, Sango-Ota.

For many years he was the correspondent of Global Excellence Magazine at the Governor’s Office, Alausa, Lagos.

The tested journalist veered into politics and contested the 2015 House of Representatives primaries for Ifako/Ijaiye Federal Constituency, Lagos State under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
