Veteran actress, Joke Silva’s younger sister, Bisi Silva is dead. She died of cancer on Tuesday, February 12th, 2019 at about 3:45pm in Lagos.
Joke Silva announced the demise of Bisi on Tuesday via her Instagram page.
For those who don’t know, the deceased was the founder and Artistic Director of the Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) in Lagos. She opened CCA in 2007 and later Asiko International Art School in Lagos.
Bisi Silva, after her first degree in Foreign Languages in Paris, she earned her two-year MA in Visual Arts (Curating and Commissioning of contemporary Art) at the Royal College of Art in London.
