Ifeanyi Ubah’s Detention Woes

Dr. Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah, chairman of Capital Oil and Gas Limited is in serious trouble as another court in the Federal Capital Territory has directed the Department of State Service (DSS) to hold him for another 14 days, minutes after a Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the agency to release him within 48 hours.

However, Justice Yusuf Halilu of the FCT Federal High Court on Thursday 25th May, 2017 extended the detention order of the Capital Oil and Gas boss following an ex-parte application the agency filed through its lawyer Mr. G.O.A. Agbadua. The DSS said it filed the application considering that an earlier order the court granted it on May 10, elapsed on Wednesday.
