Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State escaped death by whiskers recently. Those who witnessed the incident disclosed to us that His Excellency was coming out of Lokoja Central Mosque in the old market area of the state capital when angry residents started stoning him.

Our sources added: “The situation in this state is even worse than what the residents are doing. The situation is pathetic. He recently attended an event in Ankpa, and residents there defied heavy security to stone him. We don’t understand what’s going on.”

Our sources revealed that this would be the second time in two weeks the governor would be stoned by the people. We gathered some people even stoned the governor with rotten fruits and vegetables.
