Former governor of Bauchi State, Mallam Isa Yuguda has described his successor Governor Mohammed Abubakar as a liar. The ex-governor said his successor has been telling the people of Bauchi State that he inherited a debt portfolio of N125 billion whereas it is about N80 billion debt he left behind.

Mallam Isa Yuguda also said that the governor has no right to reverse all the things he has done as executive governor of the state for eight years because he was duly elected by Bauchi people to take decisions on their behalf.

He added that his government took a N52 billion bond from the capital market to the complete airport specialized hospital and other projects. He warned his successor to stop harassing his supporters in Bauchi State.
