Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State is in hot soup as Muslims in the entire state are bitter with him and his government. The league of Imams and Alfas in the state revealed that the governor has been marginalizing Muslims since he came into power.

The Nigerian Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs and National Council of Muslim Youth Organisation in the state said the governor has been neglecting Muslims in political appointments in the state. They added that he is doing it deliberately because he is a Christian and his treatment of Muslims in the state is the worst since Ekiti State was created. They added that all the political appointees in the state are 99 percent Christians.

Also, the league of Imams has ordered all Muslims not to collect rams and other food items from the governor during the Sallah celebration and they have placed a curse on any Muslim that disobeys the order.
