Glo’s Dance With Peter Features 1970s, 80s Music Legends

Glo Dance With PeterThe remaining 15 contestants for the mouth-watering prizes at stake in the Glo-sponsored Reality TV Show, “Dance with Peter” will this weekend try to reenact the dance steps of some music legends of their choice.
The theme of this weekend’s show is “Legendary Throwback”, and the contestants will perform singly and try to recreate the scintillating dance steps of yesteryears. It will be the first solo performance by the dancers since the live shows started, and it promises to be highly entertaining as Messiah performs Boney M’s Daddy Cool and Paulette performs Cindy Lauper’s Just wanna have fun. Nekky will perform Angelique Kidjo’s Agolo, while G-Xtreme performs Tina Turner’s What’s love got to do. Other contestants who will perform are Amazing Amy who will do La Isla Bonita, MX who will do Bobby Brown’s My Prerogative, Da Octopus who will try to re-enact Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby, and C-Fly who will take on MC hammer’s Too legit to quit.
The rest are Teejay who will dance Brenda Fassie’s Vuhndlela, T-Rubber who will do another Brenda Fassie song, Nguanoma, Julius Fakta who will take on Celine Dion’s The Way It Is, Miracle who will perform Diana Ross’ He lives in you, Yemi who will do James Brown’s It is a Man’s World and Kelvin who will re-enact James Brown’s Feel Good.
Female singer and Glo ambassador, Omawumi, will be the guest judge and will be giving her views on the performances by the contestants.
Globacom, in a statement, encouraged viewers to vote for their favorite contestants. “Voters stand a chance of winning fantastic prizes including Iphone 5 handsets, Glo internet wifi and modems as well as Glo recharge cards”. The statement added that those who miss the show on Africa Magic Urban at 7 p.m. on Saturday  can look forward to it on African Independent Television (AIT) 5 p.m. on Sunday to watch the contestants replicate the thrilling dance steps of the music legends.
Dance with Peter also runs on MTV Base on Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The company advised the public to vote for their preferred contestant by sending his or her code to 55518 at the cost of N50 per SMS. Voting lines are open from 8 p.m. on Saturday to 12 midnight on Monday.
