Gbemisola Saraki Warms Up For 50th Birthday

Gbemisola SarakiTurning 50 has its attractions, though as one approaches the golden age, the perks of youth take a gradual bow and life unfolds more meaningfully. That is why Gbemisola Rugayyah Saraki, famous society lady and the beautiful daughter of the late strongman of Kwara politics, Dr. Olusola Saraki, who turns 50 soon, intends to observe this crucial turn in her life with modestly while gratitude for a good life.

The woman of substance will be hitting the proverbial golden age soon. Though she will literally be joining the esteemed gold club in May, the PDP chieftain is already warming up to organize a superlative birthday shindig to mark the milestone in her life.

Like a princess of commerce that she is, Gbemi spend her days working and strategizing in the crafty and cold world of Nigeria’s financial sector. Consequently, she has amassed what can be said to be a good fortune at 50 that has bought her the good life. Gbemi parades an elegance that surprisingly presents an admirable rampart to her personality especially when she is assessed in the light of her stunning intellect. The result is a woman of poise and infectious charm that can win over even the most hostile adversary.

Gbemisola Saraki, who was elected to represent the People’s Democratic Party in the Central Senatorial District of Kwara State in April, 2003, is a graduate of Economic from the University of Sussex, UK. She thereafter did the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), with the Nigeria Bank for Commerce and Industry, Lagos. Then, she worked with the Societe Generale Bank (Nigeria), first as Head, Money Markets and later Head, Domiciliary Accounts.

Many are always quick to acknowledge her spirit of fellow-feeling, as she has been a benefactor to many in the state. We learnt at the moment, no fewer than seven indigenes of the state are attending the Nigeria Law School, courtesy of her magnanimity.
