Fair Point Ltd. Boss, Sam Okonkwo Buries Mother In Style

There is every reason to celebrate, rather mourn, the life and times of a matriarch who lived to surpass the biblical age of seven scores and one, peacefully bidding bye to the world at the ripe age of 94. This is exactly what the Okonkwo family of Umuezeabu, Ichi in Ekwusigo local government, Anambra State is set to do for their matriarch, Ezinne Nonyelum Hope Okonkwo.

The family invites friends and well-wishers to join them as they celebrate the life and times of Ezinne Okonkwo who passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, June 18, 2018 at the age of 94.

The late matriarch of Okonkwo family was born to the family of late Umeakunne and late Mrs. Eleodichi Obi of Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State. She was a devoted Christian, community leader and successful entrepreneur during her life time.

According to programme of events her burial released by the family, Mrs Okonkwo’s rites of passage will commence on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 6pm with Service of Songs at Chief Samuel Okonkwo’s compound, Umuezeabu, Ichi.

This will be followed the next day, Friday, September 21, 2018 by funeral service at St. James Anglican Church, Ichi. Time is 10 am. Funeral festivities for the late matriarch of Okonkwo family will continue on Saturday September 22 with reception of in-laws, condolence visits etc., while thanksgiving service in her honour holds on Sunday, September 23 at St. James Anglican Church, Ichi.

Among those she survived to celebrate her life are Chief Sam Okonkwo, Chairman/CEO, Fairpoint Ltd; Sir Emma Bishop Okonkwo OFR, Chairman/CEO of Ekulo Group; Sir Nathan Okonkwo, Chairman/CEO, NathGoz International Ltd. and Mrs ABJ Okonkwo, Daughter in Law.
