Former pope, Benedict XVI who resigned in 2013 celebrated his 90th birthday drinking beer with friends and family from his native Bavaria in Germany.
The pictures of this birthday were release by the Vatican newspaper which showed the celebrant sipping from his mug of beer. Benedict’s brother, Monsignor Georg Ratzinger also joined the party.
