The father of Yunusa Dahiru who abducted 13 years old Ese Oruru from Bayelsa State to Kano since August last year has said that his son is not responsible for Ese’s five months pregnancy.

Dahiru Bala disclosed that his son did not make love to Ese because he never cohabited with her for the six months she spent in Kano as it is against Islam.

Besides, the 55 years old farmer revealed that his son didn’t kidnapped Ese as widely reported in the media. He said Ese and Yunusa are lovers and the son told him he was coming home with his lover.

He added that Nigerians are making noise about the matter because he is not as rich as Aliko Dangote.

That’s not all, he disclosed that it was Ese who requested to be converted to Islam and nobody forced her to abandon Christianity. He revealed Ese was kept in custody of the Sharia Commission at the home of the District Head of Kura throughout her stay in Kano. So, his son did not put her in the family way.
