The Honourable Commissioner for Works in Ondo State, Engineer Gboye Adegbenro has emerged the Best Commissioner for Works, South-West Nigeria. The Guardian Newspapers in collaboration with Africa Development Studies Centre Inc would on Thursday March 30th, 2017 recognize stellar performance in 2016 of deserving commissioners in five key sectors of the Nigeria’s economy across the six geo-political zones.
These are the key achievements of Engineer Gboye Adegbenro that makes him deserving of recognition as the best South-West Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure in 2016: Reconstruction of critical township roads in ondo state into dual carriage ways, upgrading of Oba-Adesida-Oyemekun-Ilesha Road in Akure into international standard and its completion with state of the arts road furniture. Asphalt overlay of all inherited surfaced dressed roads across Ondo State.
