Hajia Bola Shagaya, one of the richest women in Africa is in pains. The Kwara State born business mogul is said to be in Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) trouble. Those spreading the story are saying that she allegedly collected about N1 billion from the Dasukigate arms deal money to help her party, PDP win elections in Kwara State.

The tale bearers disclosed that she has been drilled by the operatives of the EFCC and she is refunding the money to the commission. It is interesting to know that she was very close to the presidency in the last administration. Her son Sheriff Shagaya was the Peoples Democratic Party candidate for Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency of Kwara State in the 2015 general election.
