Businesswoman and politician, Hajia Bola Shagaya, has denied report making the rounds that she was planning to host the first lady-in-waiting, Mrs. Aisha Buhari to a dinner.

A source close to the influential woman said the story was a fabrication and pure mischief aimed at misleading Nigerians and disparaging her good name.

“This rumour has no iota of truth whatsoever. Hajia Bola Shagaya remains a very close confidant and friend of our amiable First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, and will continue to offer her invaluable contributions to the nation always. We are also very proud of the heroic act of President Goodluck Jonathan who has made a great sacrifice to keep the peace of this nation,” the source said.

The upwardly mobile woman was also quoted to have said that the rumour allegedly emanated from the London chapter of All Progressives Congress. “We know those who are behind this heinous rumour and we urge them to desist from it,” the source added.
