Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the Poeples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate has picked ex-Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State as his running mate.

It is interesting to know that out of all the likely candidates for the position such as; Charles Soludo, former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria; Akinwunmi Adesina, former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; Chike Obi, former Managing Director of Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) and Ike Ekweremadu, Deputy Senate President, it is Peter Obi that emerged as his best choice.
