Adekunle Gold, we learnt appeared recently at one of the nation’s top Sport Radio station in Lagos as the Celebrity Guest according to the norm of the radio station, and he was asked which football club he supports.

Sources told us that the superstar did not waste any time at all to disclose he is a die-hard fan of Manchester United. Alas, while a large number of Nigerian celebrities are ardent fans of Arsenal FC, Ade Gold did not save the sword and boldly revealed Arsenal fans are the most annoying set of supporters in Nigeria.

Expectedly, insiders revealed Arsenal supporters came out in numbers and retaliated offensively by calling to vote against Adekunle Gold. We were told that ordinarily, football fans are supposed to call on the radio programme and vote for the best contestant; a contest that happened to be between the two European giants, FC Barcelona and Arsenal FC. Surprisingly, insiders squealed that the FC Barcelona representative did satisfactorily better and impressed more but because of the rage by the opposing fans towards Adekunle Gold, they had no choice than to vote against him just to have their full revenge on the superstar.

We also gathered that Arsenal fans are presently grumbling and grinning in anger over the music star. A source suspected to be an Arsenal supporter disclosed to us that not only are they bitter with ‘Ade Gold’ but also threatened that they will never in their life-time buy nor patronize his records again. Meanwhile, an insider revealed to us that the music star had already apologized to all the Arsenal fans to please forgive him and patronize his music.
