President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha Buhari has built and equipped a maternity clinic at the General Hospital, Daura. It was built by her NGO; “AISHA BUHARI FOUNDATION.”

The president’s wife on Tuesday December 12th, 2017 arrived Katsina State where she will be inaugurating and handing over the facility to the Katsina State Government as part of her contributions to the health and physical well being of women and children in the State.
Aisha Buhari was accompanied by Mrs. Toyin Saraki, wife of the Senate President, Dr. Osagie Ehenire, Minister of State for Health and Dr. Hajo Sani, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Administration.
Others include; Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Matters, Mrs. Pauline Tallen, ex-Deputy Governor of Plateau and Mrs. Eunice Ortom, wife of Benue Governor, among others.
